Set the criteria first
Choose the things that matter before opening a dozen listings: item type, intended use, preferred fit, color, and a realistic total-cost range. A small set of criteria makes it easier to rule out mismatches without treating the first appealing thumbnail as the winner.
Use the category labels as a starting point, then refine the search on each live source page. Product names and seller terms can vary, so compare the actual item and options rather than matching a word alone.

Save the details that change the decision
For each candidate, keep the source link with the selected variation, measurements, material description, and any unanswered question. Save the details from the listing itself; do not rely on memory or a cropped screenshot.
If two listings are close, compare the same fields for both. That helps show whether the difference is price, size, included pieces, or simply how each seller describes the item.

Recheck before ordering
Return to the live page before you decide. Confirm that the listing still shows the expected product, the option is selectable, and the information you saved has not changed.
A shortlist is a research aid, not an endorsement. The directory does not verify sellers, stock, product quality, or suitability.
