Measure a garment you already wear
Lay the garment flat without stretching it. Measure the chest from armpit to armpit, and use the seller’s diagram to match the points for length, shoulders, and sleeves. Check whether the chart gives flat garment widths, garment circumferences, or body measurements.
For example, if your favorite sweatshirt measures 56 cm across the chest and the listing gives 54 cm for M and 57 cm for L, L is closer at the chest. Check its length and sleeves before choosing, especially if you plan to layer underneath.

Match your foot length to the shoe chart
Measure both feet from the heel to the longest toe, wearing the socks you expect to use. If they measure 262 mm and 266 mm, use 266 mm (26.6 cm) with a chart that asks for foot length.
Check whether the chart gives foot length or insole length. If it gives only a size label or leaves you between sizes, ask for clarification on the exact pair and width before ordering.

Save the chart and your chosen option
Keep the listing link, the selected size and color, and the chart you used. If you compare two listings, line up the same measurements and units. Use photos to check details such as cut and shape alongside the numbers.
